Charcoal Naan

If you're familiar with naan, an Indian leavened flatbread, chances are you've enjoyed it with a deliciously spicy curry or tikka masala. Naan is ubiquitous in Indian cuisine, though it is also found in cuisine in other parts of Asia and even in the Caribbean. For this recipe, we added charcoal to create a stunning, natural black color and cooked our naan over a fire to pair perfectly with our proteins at the Taste of The Master Chefs event.
