Harissa-Honey Glazed Salmon

Rich’s Backyard Harissa Spice is a balance of warming chili and smoky paprika, with a hit of umami and acidity from added tomato powder. This recipe combines the harissa with floral honey, bright lemon juice, and a touch of tomato paste to make a simple glaze. This deceptively simple salmon dish has a significant wow factor but comes together in minutes, making it equally easy to prepare for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.

1.5 pounds salmon (24 ounces/ 680 g)
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Harissa Premium Seasoning
2 tablespoons lemon juice (about 1/2 a lemon)
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon tomato paste

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.

Whisk together the honey, Harissa seasoning, lemon juice, olive oil, and tomato paste in a bowl.

Pat the salmon dry, then season it generously with salt.

Spoon harissa honey glaze over the salmon, and evenly spread the glaze over the fish.

Roast the salmon for 10-13 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 125°F. (Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the salmon.)
